PAINTINGS

Laurinda Bedingfield paints with acrylics on panel and has a contemporary, representational style. "My subject matter is the everyday and the overlooked. I enjoy painting what I see as I drive through urban areas or rummage through the attick. Elements and details are taken out of context and presented as something complete within themselves. There is beauty and design all around us but we need to shift perceptions to see it. I like to think my pieces are just little representations of that shift."
